2 . Practicalities
PDF (Portable Document Format) files are created by Adobe Acrobat software and can only be viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have this viewer configured on a local drive, you may download it at no cost from Adobe's Web site.
PDF files on the Bureau of Labor Statistics website are best viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher. If you do not have 4.0 or higher, you may have trouble viewing or printing PDFs that are on the BLS site.
Adobe provides tools to help make PDFs accessible to individuals who use screen reading devices. To obtain additional information regarding these tools, read the material provided on Adobe's accessibility web pages.
Acrobat software is based on the PostScript TM page-description language. The Acrobat Reader allows you to view electronically published documents on-screen at the highest possible resolution exactly as they were published. Some files may be difficult to read from the screen. However, the Reader will allow you to print these publications accurately on PostScript or non-PostScript printers.
Information about the access to IntraComm, the Intranet of the European Commission, is given in the following PDF document: ACCESSING OUTLOOK (E-mail) AND IntraComm FROM OUTSIDE THE COMMISSION.

AIACE-NL is designed for a minimum screen resolution of
800 x 600 pixels. However, for better viewing, we recommend a higher resolution
of 1024 x 768 pixels.
You can change the resolution of your screen in the
control panel "Display". Be aware though that on some PCs you are
not permitted to change your screen resolution.

Regarding the frequent update of several pages on IntraComm, like the homepage or the "What’s new" page, we recommend that you refresh your screen regularly. You can do this by simply clicking on the "Refresh" button in the top toolbar of your browser.
Should you encounter problems in printing the full content of an IntraComm page, there are several possibilities for help :

The web layout provides a multitude of navigational facilities. In the banner region on the top of the page you have links to the following tools :
The top banner provides a link to the homepage of IntraComm
or the homepage of the specific subsite you are surfing on by simply clicking
on the image.
At any time the path just below the banner shows you
where you are. You can also click on the path to return to the upper levels.

At the bottom of every IntraComm page you will find the same navigational tools as on the top. A link to contact the editor of the specific page is also provided in this area.
